One of the worst companies in the UK for renting cars. Don't do business here. I only planned to rent the car for one day when I made the reservation, but the employee at the front desk chose the return time half-hour late for the next day, which meant that I was charged for an additional day without my knowledge. Without being aware of the circumstances, I signed the contract, and even though I returned the car on time, the extra day was still charged. I've made numerous attempts to contact customer service, but there is none. Do yourself a favour and avoid renting a car from this company.

Rent a Tesla car. The app does not allow me to extend the rental. So I used chat service. The chat service told me to use the app to extend. I told them that I cant. They said they will extend it for me. They even said it is confirmed. But it was not extended. So I have to tell them again. Another issue is that they charged me as they want and there is no explanation. So, I chased them for it. They said it is wrongly charged and will refund. To this day, I am still chasing for the refund. Another issue is the car locked itself. I got my phone inside the car. It is Tesla and I cant open without my phone. I called Hertz for five hours and NO ONE KNOWS HOW TO DEAL WITH THIS AND KEEP REFERRING US TO AA (AA SAID THEY CANT DO ANYTHING) ON TOP OF IT NO ONE PICK UP THE PHONE FOR FIVE HOURS

I recently rented a Tesla car from Hertz for my Uber driving business, and I have to say that I was extremely disappointed with the overall experience. Despite adhering to the terms of my rental agreement and returning the car on time clean and 98% charged, I was charged extra fees that I believe were unjustified. Moreover, the Tesla car provided by Hertz was not suited for the demands of ride-sharing, especially with its limited range and the scarcity of charging stations. This made it challenging to complete my shifts efficiently, and it resulted in significant delays and lost income. It was also a huge source of range anxiety, which added unnecessary stress to my work. While I had high hopes for Hertz, the extra charges and the inadequacy of the Tesla car were unacceptable. The lack of transparency in the billing process made me feel like I was being taken advantage of, and it further compounded my frustrations. Overall, I would not recommend renting a Tesla car from Hertz if you are an Uber driver or anyone looking for a reliable and practical vehicle for ride-sharing. The combination of the extra fees and the subpar quality of the car make for a very disappointing experience. I give them 2 stars for the rental experience.
