Room M5, 2 night stay *Got lost on my way to the room. Ended up asking housekeeping. Then had to go back down when discovered the key didn't even work!! *Smelly bathroom drain *Hair on bathroom floor and a few in bed *Dirt and mess behind shower door slide *Body towels are quite thin *Box vent thing by window, above the bed, heater/fan, wall near window +curtains dusty as f*** *Hairdryer in room not working(had another one sent up) *No wi-fi password(had to sign into it, I don't do that mess) *Room surprisingly had a fridge! *Room tissue box was literally all gone *Selection of teas could have been a little better(add earl grey, english breakfast tea, herbal etc..) *Room temp went up to 30c *Bathroom has floor heating(found this out second night around 10pm when I stood on the folded up bath towel to find it very warm and the floor burning hot) up to 40c *Bed was a little worn in a certain area(very soft and sunken) *Second day I was having problems with the heater/fan(room was warm but it wasn't blowing out as it was first night) *Both nights I didn't sleep well. First night I could have had 11 -12hours sleep but kept waking up. Second night, there was too much noise going on with pipes and things. Again, I could have had around 10hours, but here I am finishing my review at 5am. (Blow out heater/fan didn't come on again till 07:42am) All in all I wouldn't stay again, not in this room. Maybe a double bed room. Worst hotel room I have stayed in.

The hotel is located close to London Paddington rail station, on a quieter street. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the breakfast was good. The room was a little shabby, but overall well kept and very reasonable for the price. I'd consider staying here again for another business trip. Walkability: Close to tube, rail, bus and Elizabeth Line stops. Close to Hyde park. Just about walkable to central London inside an hour.
