Hilton London Paddington

Hilton London Paddington is a Hotel with very poor security. Anyone can jus come up to the hotel rooms. There's no security key needed when going up the lifts. No cctv to check along the corridors. We were staying for 7 nights, out of which 2 nights we were disturbed. Someone kept trying to get into our room. We called security. There was a luggage n another small pouch left outside my room door when security came. We asked for follow up as to what's happening but no one came back to tell us until we asked again the next day. 1 told me that there's a drunken woman. Another told my husband that a lady saw her room number wrongly. Another incident was, when I came back to the room another night, there was a young man sitting at the steps leading to my room, blocking me from entering. He coolly told me he was searching for his own room key. I immediately called security again when I went into my room. This time no security came n no feedback to me as to what happened and/or truly that young man was from another room?? There's no cctv to check?? We have a change of room as that room is right at the end of a very long corridor and next to I guess a dump site where all rubbish are being desposed off. Location of hotel is very good as its next to Paddington station. Does one compromise on security over such convenience?? Wonder why the authority allow such hotel to continue to operate?? We actually needed 6 nights of stay n only realised the mistake upon checking in but the hotel receptionist was not too friendly and never allowed us to change just because we booked through an agent.
