5 of us stayed here. Hotel is just 3min walk from Paddington station so easy access to tubes and trains. Next to a small park so can sit for a little down time. About 10mins walk to Hyde Park where you can also cross over to Kensington Gardens, see Kensington Palace and Royal Albert Hall. Can access all of this via South Kensington station which is just 3 stops from Paddington station. Harrods also just on other side of Park. Natural History museum, Victoria and Albert museum, Science museum, Geology museum all situated in one clump a short walk from Royal Albert Hall. Closest station is South Kensington. The hotel room was very comfortable. Cosy. Tidied daily. Breakfast served 7am-9am. Hot full English/vegetarian breakfast served on request or continental breakfast. All brought to your table. Orange juice and tea/coffee and cereal also served. Hair dryer, tea and coffee kettle facilities and a fan provided in room. En-suite bathroom. Room key has to be returned to reception upon leaving and re-entering hotel. Iron available to use but shared between guests. Good location. Next to a lot of restaurants, takeaways and small shops where you can purchase water. Halal KFC and other halal takeaways including Chicken Cottage round the corner from the hotel. Staff were lovely. Happy with service. Comfortable stay. Recommend it for the closest budget friendly stay one can get central London ways :-)

(Translated by Google) Small hotel in a prime location - just a 5 minute walk from Paddington station. Lots of small restaurants and souvenir shops just around the corner. An enormous limitation are the _extremely badly soundproofed rooms. Anyone who expects even a little bit of privacy here will be disappointed. From a quiet conversation to the sonorous snoring from the next room, everything was clearly audible. That makes the overnight stay a bit like playing the lottery: OK with quiet neighbors, otherwise quite annoying. The rooms themselves are extremely small but adequately equipped. bed, a small table and a small bathroom with shower. Everything is a bit old but clean and functional. Relatively cheap by London standards and if you don't have high expectations it's okay. Point deduction due to the poor volume isolation otherwise perfectly fine.

(Translated by Google) The subway passes next to the rooms every 2 minutes! Everything trembles, and on top of that the vibrations generated by the subway sound. Terrible hotel, without a doubt the worst I've been to, 151 euros in April for a single room with a 80-meter bed and a room area of 4 m2. It is physically impossible to fall out of bed. On top of that, they gave us rooms in the basement. They didn't want to change the rooms. The dining room is next door and when they start to cook the frying pan, the smell is revoked by the bathroom extractors. An adventure not to forget. The colleagues who also had rooms on other floors felt the same vibrations and resonances. They say that the metro closes from 12 to 5 in the morning, but until 1 in the morning it doesn't stop passing and at 5 the first one passes again; and again they begin every two minutes to pass.
