I would like to share my recent experience at Halfords Hyde, where I sought an MOT and service after leaving it to the last minute. While I was fortunate enough to find availability, I must note that the overall experience was marred by poor communication and aggressive upselling. During the process, I was informed of repairs that were presented in a very blunt manner, leading to an initial test costing 40 escalating to 750 over several days. As a result, I am unsure if all the work done was absolutely necessary. Overall, my experience at Halfords Hyde was okay, but the communication and upselling left a lot to be desired. I would recommend that future customers exercise caution and ensure clear communication with the staff regarding the scope of work and cost.

Booked in for mot for 1hour slot.. Arrived 10 minutes early as instructed and 1 hours 30mins later my vehicle still had not been touched. When I asked why was this! The reply was running behind with no apologies..will never go back stay well clear
