Not sure about the internet but I have been with them for my phone for about 7 years, before that I was with XLN no comparison, the service with UK Wholesale has and is been great, and they kept the price the same during this time. Unlike XLN -put prices up only a few months after I had signed the contract without warning even though they said they did.

Been with this company for two years keep having instances of the internet going off for a few hours and then comes back on. Bought my own router and modem as the one they supplied was terrible. Would not recommend, I've never had internet with a company before where I'm being disconnected every few months with no explanation it just comes back online after a few hours.

Read the small print!!! I'm really sorry to be writing this review as after being a very happy customer for nearly 7 years my experience of trying to move to another supplier has been a complete nightmare. The reason I needed to change was no reflection on the service, the girls at the customer services were always brilliant but we have retired from our restaurant business but still live in the same building, as our broadband was always privately with another supplier, whilst upgrading that I asked about including my landline as was able to do this at no extra cost. Then the nightmare began. Uk wholesale make it as difficult as possible, sending numerous emails implying that you have been talked into something by the new the supplier and that they are conning you. Then seeming to make sure that if you don't stay your transfer date will be under the necessary 30 days notice, which is very small print in the initial contract,EE have been brilliant and tried to change the date to well over the 30 days, open reach did not unfortunately change the date.. Anyway I have now been billed 199.00 plus vat by uk direct. EE have been brilliant and credited me with 199.00 which they didn't have to do. Just wanted to let you know that there are unacceptable charges if you try to get out of a UK direct contract and they will not try to help even if you have been a long term customer

When I rang UK Wholesale direct in June to ask when my 2 year contract was expiring as I was thinking of leaving I was told it would be July and there was a disconnection fee of 39.99 as written in the small print of contract. I was told why not save the disconnection fee and transfer the broadband to them as well as other suppliers may not live up to their promises etc. Once I arranged for a new supplier to switch in July I was told my contract would only expire in August and I would have to pay an additional 199 on top of 39.99 disconnection fee for leaving within contract, plus was given the same sales pitch again how bad the competition is and why not stay.... In the end, I re-arranged for switch to take place in August so I was 'only' having to pay the disconnection fee. So glad not doing business with this company any more!
