Ok, up front I could be biased here on the rating ..sorry but I wouldn't have been going once a month for 8 years if I thought it was rubbish, and everyone is really welcome to come and see me once a month (except August) on the 2nd Tuesday of the month . Now for the review.....I have been going to mmhs since it was smats (the old name of the group) so I like the regular people and the lecture contents (I have done two lectures myself). Cost currently is 4 (with complementary hot beverage's and usually biscuits) per lecture, venue is 5 mins walk from nearest rail station (Newton). All money is used to pay for the use of the venue, improve the facilities we have (we recently bought a new projector screen to the hall,) and to pay the travel costs for some speakers who travel a great distance. Lectures are almost always great if not always what you expected from the title of the lecture, very interesting material on esoteric historical events can be expected. We are friendly people and we are fascinated by what other people did in the past
