Two orders, both with major delays and issues. Lack of communication, super slow deliveries and incorrect postage details given to courier. See below for more detailed explanation. The first order arrived 10 days after being placed, although their website states next day delivery. I chased three times via email but didn't get any response at all. I called them but couldn't get any answer, so I decided to start claiming the money back through my credit card company. That is when the items arrived. No dispatch notice was provided prior to this. Second order - I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt as it could have been a courier issue and their prices were very tempting. However once again, I was still waiting for the items 9 days later. I emailed twice for an update but had no response, so I called the number on their website again. This time I was able to speak to someone and they advised me that the item was showing on tracking as "delivered" one day prior - once again, this tracking info or confirmation of dispatch wasn't sent to me, so I couldn't see this myself and had no idea. I checked behind the bins etc but it wasn't there. I called back and asked them to call Parcelforce and sort it, but was told "it might take a while". Therefore I took the tracking number from them and called parcelforce myself that evening. Parcelforce then called me back the next morning and confirmed that the items had been delivered to a different address, as per the label - i.e. Top Yield had put the wrong address on there - but Parcelforce wouldn't tell me which address and advised me to go back to TY. I called and expained this to TY and asked them to resolve it one way or another ASAP, as it was now nearly 2 weeks since I placed the order - remember, I'm expecting next day delivery at the point I made the order. I was told they were "very busy" so it might take a while but I made it clear that I was desperate and that I needed the items right away one way or another (in other words - resend them right now if you don't want to call Parcelforce to resolve it!!). However, from then on I heard nothing back and I couldn't get hold of anyone at TY via email or phone. I therefore re-purchased the items from Amazon at additional cost and all arrived the next day, and I prepared to claim the money back from TY via my credit card... That is when Parcelforce called me out the blue and advised me of the address it had been delivered to. It was on my street but the wrong house number. I went and picked it up from the neighbour down the road, by which time, of course, it had been opened - so much for discreet postage and packaging - as the address on it was theirs and therefore the mistake was definitely Top Yield's, not the courier's. This was 13 days after I had initially placed the order, but I finally had the items to hand. Unfortunately I had already spent more than double the initial outlay re-buying everything from Amazon to ensure next day delivery, had wasted at least an hour calling Parcelforce and Top Yield over 2-3 days, and then had to go and get the opened parcel from a neighbour. Not ideal at all. All in all, not a good experience and I won't be going back a third time. Giving 2 stars as I don't think they are scammers or anything, just not very good at mail order and customer service.

Weird. Placed an order, got the confirmation and even got a "You're what makes us great!" e-mail. Days passed, I asked them for an update (ignored), asked again (ignored) before they refunded me after a week. So in short, took my dosh for a week and ignored me. Stark contrast to other industry suppliers I've used. Communication is incredibly important.
