        An absolutely fabulous cottage in a wonderful location. The owners (John and Anji) were brilliant and couldnt have made us three feel more welcome. The set-up is the highest quality, the cottage cosy and warm and we would love to go back. All the facilities are close by too (great food, great pubs, local shop). All in all, a proper gem!

        Had an amazing week staying at Grace's Retreat. Had all the home comforts you need for a lovely week away. Friendly owners who gave us some good recommendations for places to visit. Bed was really comfy and the shower had great water pressure! We had to light the fire even if it wasn't quite cold enough It's in a great location to visit a wide variety of places in the North East. Would definitely stay here again.

        What a place, the photos don't do it justice. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area - nothing is too much trouble. 100% recommend this place for a quiet little getaway. 5*
