Positives: - Nice rustic decor and atmosphere - Staff friendly and helpful - Food came out in good time - Starter, salmon roulade, was a nice change to usual pub starters and was nice. - Yorkshire pudding seemed freshly cooked and was pleasant, when they often seem like they were cooked yesterday at pubs. - Child friendly, with a wide selection of games and puzzles you can borrow plus a small outside playground. Negatives: - Main course, the roast was just luke warm, shame as flavours and variety of veg was nice. - Sticky toffee pudding was also luke warm, and had lots of strands of what looked like ginger root at the bottom, like it was not chopped properly, this, plus the fact it was luke warm effected the texture of the cake, slightly dry. Toffee sauce was nice.
