Photochronicle

Mid-Sussex has an abundance of photographers, especially family photographers, so finding the right one can feel a little like a minefield. We discovered April via a local cafe, Sussex Mother, and instantly fell in love with her natural style. We were then lucky enough to have April shoot one of our events for parents, where she captured the essence of the gathering just perfectly. April blended in seamlessly, capturing such gentle moments between parents and children, and natural, smiling interactions between friends. All of the shots are unbelievable - such authentic and rich photographs which are both simple and powerful at the same time. We wouldnt hesitate to use her again, for both personal family photos and work events. We highly, highly recommend her and it was an utter pleasure to have her document such a treasured event for The Parent Hood.

While I have loved and admired Aprils work for some time, I was not sure if we needed any more photographs of our family. With everyone having a camera at their fingertips these days, I felt swamped in TOO MANY family photographs rather than too few. However, once we saw Aprils amazing pics of us I was so glad we had done it! Not only were her photos of much, much higher quality than anything a camera phone could take, they were all images caught with Aprils incredibly skillful eye. She was able to show us moments in our family that we take for granted or dont even notice, and reflect to us how truly meaningful and beautiful they are. Having her work on our walls helps us to continue to cherish those moments, and inspires us to create new ones. I highly recommend hiring April, you will not regret it.

It was a super relaxed morning. April is very easy to get along with and unimposing when she works. We just went about our day looking after our baby and have some beautiful pictures to show for it. We are so happy to have had this time professionally captured when we were in our newborn bubble. Thank you!

April is an amazing photographer and we are so so happy with the beautiful images she has captured of our busy family life. Shes managed to tell the story of our home life, which will be a lovely keepsake to show the kids when they are older. I 100% recommended her services. Thanks so much April!
