        My DeWinter boots are the most comfortable smart shoes I have ever owned. Beautifully made and hard wearing, I can see these lasting 20 years or more. That makes it about 10 a year; really good value.

        My dad came from Australia to visit me whilst I was playing cricket in England. He bought two pairs of boots from Mr De Winter, and says they are the best shoes he has ever had. He says that he would never buy any other pair of boots, other than those made by this man, simply brilliant.

        My boots arrived today and they are fantastic, they look even better in person than in the photographs. They are easily on par with rival brands costing twice as much. Richard De Winter was incredibly responsive to my emails and helpful in advising me on quality levels of his own brand as well as others he sells and the differences between US and UK sizing. I will certainly be buying more from them in the future.
