Southdown Way Caravan & Camping Park

The venue is good but not suitable for large student groups, such as Dofe groups. The staff were constantly on our case about campsite etiquette. And we were constantly told by different staff members to keep the noise down, but since our students were on an open field, they were playing safe games to unwind after a gruelling day but were told to keep the noise down, even before the allotted quiet hours as stipulated in the house rules guide. I will not book this venue again. Restrooms: The rest rooms were clean

Sadly due to wet conditions we were informed the day before our stay that we and our fellow campervanners (4in total for Brighton marathon) would need to stay in carpark area which was fine by us.. Still with electric hook up (also good) however, not impressed to be located next to waste disposal but hey.. Not a huge problem as no smells! Showers amazing and good facilities. HOWEVER.. Rather marred by a misunderstanding regarding builders vans and our pitch on the Sunday morning.... This is edited as I feel my previous version was rather harsh.. Its a beautiful site with a fab village within walking distance....
