Nice little garden centre. Was suppose to be a Plantfest this weekend. Nothing there. Plants, music on speaker and usual cafe. Saw two members of staff outside the four running the cafe. Bit of false advertising. Saw people coming in with kids all excited and leave disappointed.

Excellent garden centre for getting ideas, asking for help and generally avoiding chains that are tantamount to supermarkets for garden stuff. Overhead someone say that the plants are good specimens. Completely agree. They supply Gold medal winning gardens at Chelsea so it's in their interest. Great cafe too.

A brilliant choice of plants, to suit the rare collector and for general beautiful gardens. The negative comment is in regards the cafe/restaurant. I cannot believe the number of times serving staff brought out food, drinks or menus and walked past used cups and plates on the tables. Surely it would be more time efficient to take some back when returning to the preparation area empty handed. Otherwise it means someone has to make a particular trip to clear/clean tables when they could be almost ready for the next customer. Far too much of walking about with empty hands. I understand the plants staff have to help out in the cafe on occasions, serving staff training would negate that problem by making best use of their working time.
