Good, reasonably priced pub food with proper homemade chips! Good service and friendly atmosphere. They even do a doggy menu with a few choices for a few quid each....Dylan was very happy with his cod and mash!

Rating based on Food! We came with a party of 12. The food ultimately was in a word, terrible! I would strongly not recommend eating here or choose a day with the right kitchen staff/chef! Between us we had meals such as the lamb shank, steaks and burgers. The standard of food itself was awful. The burgers were colourless and lacking in flavour and full of grissel. Accompanied with a side salad that looks like it was dragged out of the 70's! When the burgers also came out in brioch buns and NOT the seeded as stated on the menu, I asked if this could be changed as I have a dairy allergy, I was told no and that's all they come with! No concern as to why I was asking or the allergy. (Health and safety hazard right their! Which will be reported) The lamb shank was grey and floating in what can only be described as dirty dish water. Again, with no flavour at all. Steaks were also terrible cuts, not seasoned and the chips on everyone's plate had barely seem a fryer long enough to cook but yet soaking in oil. As for the peas, I've seen greener grave stones! All in all, this almost 180 bill was worth more like 10! Simply disgusting. Reports will be going in to the relevant authorities.
