This is truly a dreadful company to deal with. I have tried for 9 months to get an engineer visit from them to look at some faulty doors and windows. The staff taking calls will literally block you speaking to the technical staff and insist you fill in interest forms. After much complaining I was forced to spend 275.00 upfront to secure the services of a site visit from an engineer. If it wasn't for the fact that my client has so many of their products in his new build I'd recommend removing all the doors and frames completely. My best advice. Use this company at your own risk. They do not provide value for money and will not provide adequate after sales service for a product sold as a premium product. If you think it might be a one off issue, I have their products in my own home and also had no end of issues dealing with them for these also.

Only a 1 star review because the windows look nice and I cant rate it lower. Utterly disappointed in the rationel windows that were installed in my new build home. Would not recommend to anyone and quite depressed to look around many new build sites to see how many people will be stuck with them and not encouraged by reading the other reviews. Within a few months of moving in, we were told that all of our windows had to be replaced due to no longer meeting fire safety standards, which isnt rationels fault I understand, however we had already complained and asked for new glass for all of our original windows since they were all scratched or cracked (again perhaps not their fault) and letting in water (definitely their fault). After every window was replaced, the very next time it rained we discovered that the new ones were still letting in water, and so we complained and a rep from rationel arrived to assess. Upon arrival around November 2020 he informed me that this was due to a manufacturing defect and he had just come from a job in London fixing the same issue in a building with around 500 windows , all affected by the defect. We had tested all of ours with a hose before he arrived and sure enough they all let in water so He wrote a report requesting all windows receive a fix. Jump to January and a rep arrives with a plan to fix just one pane ( ours are big almost floor to ceiling windows with 4-6 panes in each) but after a bit of coercing and contacting his coordinator, they agreed to fix the two worst leaking windows since thats all the materials they had, and left it with the coordinator (whom I already suspected couldnt coordinate a piss up in a brewery, since from a clearly written report stating all windows needed to be fixed, he arranged for just one) to rebook a time to come back and do the rest. The very next time it rained, the windows still leaked. Weeks later and no news from the coordinator, we chased our aftercare sales team to complain again, and after waiting a while for works to recommence due to covid in April, got booked in. The team who came fixed the still leaking windows, and applied the fix to the rest, and since then we have been lucky to have pretty good weather but... The very next time it rained (today) the windows still leak.18 months after moving in. We are disgusted that even after full replacement and the multiple attempts to fix our windows they still let in water and eagerly await for the bank holiday to end so we can seek a final resolution, which At this stage for me will only be to seek to replace all of our windows again with a superior product from a different manufacturer.
