Bought a Type R from these guys just over a year ago that was told was very well cared for (and top money). Turned out to be the exact same car that James T (few reviews down) bought and subsequently returned. Unfortunately by the time this was brought to light it was too late and the car has since had to be scrapped. Very unimpressed.

Never buy a car from these, unless you expect extremely poor after sales. I bought a Honda civic Type R from these guys, they told me before I make the 3 hour journey the car is near on immaculate. They told me the car wouldn't be ready for a few days due to it needs to be mot'd, I go up on the day we agreed on and there is no sign of life. I wait around for the car I'm buying to turn up with the owner of the company knowingly I wanted the engine to be cold upon arrival. I checked the car over from what I could and all seemed ok. I px'd my run around car and cash for the civic, I get the car home and get it up on the ramps to find it COMPLETELY rotten underneath, along with bodged brake lines they had fitted to make it pass the mot (which had an arm long legnth of advisories which he kept hidden well). I call up to tell him I will be returning the car the next day for him to tell me he's got to check with his boss. I take the car back and 6weeks later I get my money back! AVOID!

Bought my sons first car from here two months ago and still waiting for the documents to come through, as a result we have not been able to get him insured to drive the car. Really disappointing. Avoid him at all costs.

Edited from original post. At first, all seemed well with my experience with Novo Motors - Lovely showroom with some really nice cars inside. Decided on a car there and then that I had seen advertised on Autotrader and struck up a deal with the owner Jamie to to arrange a PX for my old car. A few weeks later, finance all sorted, keys exchanged and I drove away happy in my new car. A few weeks later, I start getting calls and letters from the finance company of my old car saying that they still had not received the settlement payment from Novo - Long story short, This ended up taking several weeks to resolve with numerous calls to Jamie to get this sorted. There were apparently issues with the cheques that had been sent to the finance company, the first one which hadn't been banked and then the second one had gone missing? I mean, who uses cheques nowadays to pay off 10k?? In the end, after much chasing, Jamie settled the finance via bank transfer. All sorted now, right? Seemingly not... it appears the DVLA hadn't been notified that my old car was no longer with me either so I was receiving letters from them chasing the tax for it, and I have also had to apply for a V5 for my new as I never received that either after nearly 2 months! Luckily I had the green slip to save me shelling out the 25 for a new one. All in all a very stressful and unpleasant experience, with lots of unnecessary running about and chasing after something which should have been sorted as soon as they took my old car as PX. Bit of a shame really as Jamie is a nice guy with a good business, but the admin and paperwork side is lacking completely.
