I am writing regarding the electricity inspection that was taken at the property yesterday by KLC. I was surprised by how careless the 2 electricians were during the visit, by not wearing face masks during this period, and also by not using shoe covers to protect the carpets. I was also surprised to see them finding enough confidence in my home to use the bathroom at their ease without asking. I was nearly expecting them to make themselves a cup of tea, or even some lunch... However, my frustration and disappointment with this service does not come from this. When the 2 gentlemen left the property, they were not able to leave the things as they found them, or even tell me what they had moved or changed, like the fridge that they left in the out of its place. So, later during the day, it started getting cold in the house, and that is when I found out that they had shut down the central heating. Then, when my 7 years old daughter went for shower, no hot water, because they had switched off the hot water. Later in the evening, I was working on my laptop, which suddenly switched off, and I realized that they had switched off some fuses and did not put them back on. They left the property without telling me any of these, which have just created issues and annoyment all afternoon. But this is not the worst! Without telling me, they also disconnected my freezer, full of supplies. You can imagine my surprise when I found all half defrosted this morning. This is a 100% unacceptable service, provided by careless people that create more issues than they resolve, and also make the letting agencies they represent look bad Next time electricity services need to be done in the property, I will not let anyone from KLC come in.
