My past experience at this practice as an NHS patient for many years with Dr Baker has been good. However now the practice has gone private I'm now expected to pay a 75 assessment fee before being able to have my regular checkup. This was explained by the receptionist as "This is what we do now before any appointments can be made" plus you have to join a treatment plan. I have now registered with another private practive that only charge for a checkup and don't require any such treatment plan.

Ive currently moved into the local area and thought I would enquire about dental care at this place. I walked into the entrance and asked for a registration form. The receptionist literally looked me up and down saying Im sorry we are no longer accepting nhs clients. Its a real shame I got labelled and judged. When little dose she know Im self employed and have been for 13 years with my own business. Im now currently being seen near Halfordsand Im very happy with being treated with respect and common courtesy.. I had to put one star otherwise I cant post my review.

Took our son for emergency 111 NHS treatment, after accident at work yesterday. He was told this morning that " You have to pay up front, since NHS patients, leave without paying for treatment", So that means the staff here, tar all patients that aren't private with the same brush. The dentist looked, said "The gum is infected, get these tablets from the Chemist and when you come back, You will be charged private Not NHS rates. So he was charged 28, received no treatment for a wisdom tooth that was so painful he can't even chew. His parting thoughts were, they are only interested in Money, Not, People's pain
