We used Rixon Architecture for our initial design and planning application submission, both of which we were really pleased with. The architect James - completely understood where we were coming from in terms of design and feel of the place. He prepared plans in a very awkward small 18th Century house (two separate houses), managed the conservations officers and provided a detailed 3-D designs so we could really visualise what we were going with in our home. The process from start to finish was efficient, smooth and James is a delight to work with. I have attached a few photos. Once the balcony, sash windows and downstairs toilets been completed, additional images will follow. This house was a full refurbishment. **We may not add the additional 3 storey due to budget.

What a delight it was to have James involved with our extension project! He conducted himself in a very professional manner and was always available to discuss options and ideas and the pros and cons of each. James communicated things with us very well, which really made us feel comfortable and confident that the approach we were taking was the right one. He completed a thorough survey of the existing house and prepared a 3D computer model of the proposed extension, which was a fantastic visual aid to demonstrate the look of the different spaces we were creating. Once on site the builders we appointed were very happy with the package that James had prepared and were able to follow the design information with ease. James remained in contact throughout the construction phase to talk through any issues that arose and find solutions. I should also add that Rixon Architectures fees were very competitive, which was the cherry on top! All in all a 5-star service from a lovely guy. We will definitely be in touch with James again in the future should we need his services.
