        This Sainsbury's is not very big but it has everything you could want and need and need the staff that work there are very kind and helpful witch is nice as many are not anymore

        A nice store with a good stock. The staff are always lovely. But I've marked it down because of the introduction of self service checkouts over the past months. It is rare to find a staffed checkout open and pressure is put on customers to use the self service. I hate fiddling about scanning and packing my own purchases and love to have a chat with a friendly face. If you must go there use a basket and go to the cigarette check out or go down to Tesco where they still have at least one or two checkouts open. Sorry Sainsbury's, please have at least one checkout open for old folks like us who like the personal touch. If Lidl can do it so can you.
