Amor Therapies

I along with five friends had the absolute pleasure and privilege of visiting the awesomely unique, and truly magical Amor Therapies yesterday. When we arrived, we were each warmly greeted by Kimmie and River, we were delighted to see that an open fire had been prepared in advance of our visit which was situated in the beautiful surroundings of their magical woodland garden, it truly is captivating. We all had a deep sense that we were in for an extremely special day. Kimmie and River showed us to the Yurt which had been so lovingly prepared, a table had been set with the most beautiful dinner set with China teacups and saucers. I almost felt like I was walking into a scene from Alice in Wonderland. Fresh fruit infused water and a wide selection of herbal teas were available to us throughout the day. Kimmie and River provided an incredible feast (vegetarian) for us for lunch. All the dishes were freshly prepared, and you really felt that your body was being lovingly nourished. The deserts were truly stunning, we had the most heavenly individual lemon cheesecakes (with gold dust), chocolate cupcakes with icing decorated with edible rose petals and the juiciest chocolate dipped strawberries, so much attention to detail was given to our yummy spread. Kimmie provided us with various treatments during the day, I had reflexology which was amazing, the other girls had Indian head massages and neck, back and shoulder massages which they said were fantastic. In between our treatments we sat relaxing around the fire basking in the glorious sunshine talking and taking in the sights and the sounds around us. At the end of the day, we retreated into the Yurt and were indulgently bathed in the most gorgeous gong bath performed by River with Kimmie which ended our magical day off beautifully. In terms of the experience, I cant begin to express in words how truly wonderful the day was from start to finish. The space that Kimmie and River have created is beyond special, its a safe and sacred space that invites you to Stop, Pause and Breathe. A space where you instinctively and intuitively connect on a deeper level to nature, self and with those around you. I feel incredibly blessed to have experienced this wonderful woodland sanctuary and cant wait to return with my little tribe. I cant thank Kimmie and River (exceptional humans) enough for the incredible effort they put into making our day such a special one which I will hold in my heart. recommend 100%

Wonderful Indian head massage with aromatherapy oils in serene surroundings. Kimmie does the treatments so well and I love how reiki is seamlessly woven into the treatment at the same time leaving me in a supremely relaxing state of being. Very much looking forward to my next visit .

Myself and five friends met at amor for some treatments and a catch up. We also had lunch and a gong sound bath. I did not know what to expect and Im still blown away. The experience surpassed anything I could have wished for or imagined. Our setting was a garden which had woodland, a treehouse, yurt and a treatment building among other curiosities, it was a magical place. There was a fire in a stone circle in a circular enclosure. (Who doesnt love open fires) The yurt had been prepared for our arrival- nicely heated, frankincense, tea lights, crystals and instruments with a table laid beautifully for our lunch. We were given space and time to acclimatise and catch up free to roam. My treatment was an Indian head massage. This was done laying down on a treatment table- the massage involved some work on my back, my head and I was turned over to so Kim could massage my face. It was very relaxing and good. The food was great - salads pita, breads, home-made hummus (amazing) pasta, chocolate, covered strawberries, cheesecake and cupcakes. The sound bath was a wonderful way to round the day off. The day felt magical. Everything from the sky staying blue while we were around the fire, to the rain shower while we had the gong bath. Magical because I could not have found it on a Google search. The space and time connecting with nature and each other in this setting was a magnificent experience. We were there for around 9 hours. Nothing felt rushed or timetabled. Everything flowed because of the work Kim and River did before we arrived and the duration of our stay. Top spa day with a refreshing difference
