South Wing was stunning. We stayed for three nights for a family gathering: 13 of us ranging from early 80s to 6 years old. The rooms were comfortable, facilities amazing. The outdoor space (large back lawn) was perfect for the younger ones to play. Very close to the high street with pubs and shops a few minutes' walk away. Really helpful communication from the owners before our stay, text check-in during our stay to make sure everything was good. 100% recommended. If we can find another occasion to revisit, we most definitely will. Great time, and lots of good memories.

Myself and a group of friends head over to South Wing every year and after about 5 visits we confidently say that it's the highlight of the year for us! All the facilities are great and we love having nights around the piano with the log fire going. The dining table is perfect for big group dinners and the kitchen is great with 2 ovens, 3 fridges and loads of space for cooking! It's very peaceful despite being near/attached to other buildings and on a night you can watch the stars in the garden. Andrew the owner is great and always flexible with check-in/out times to leave our bags. Despite not being based on-site he is quick to answer the phone and help with any issues. We once had an issue with the heating not working and within half an hour he had a plumber on the doorstep to help! He also recommended a supplier for a hot tub who is familiar with the building! It's a perfect getaway location and we can't wait to go again!
