Lucasland Holiday Cottages, for best price book direct!

We have previously enjoyed staying at other properties owned by NYCH but Lucasland is in a class of its own. We had originally planned an Easter break back in 2019 which was postponed due to lockdown. Now in 2023 the whole family came together at this truly original complex of three charming cottages and a pub surrounding a private courtyard complete with hot tub and barbeque. Each cottage was extremely well equipped and comfortable and the ability for all 17 of us to get together in the pub was perfect for celebrating two of the group's birthdays. During the day visits to the popular Filey seafront and beach were greeted with unbridled exitement by all ages (ranging from 4 to 77 years). We can reccomend Lucasland without hesitation.

Our family of 14 ( 8 adults & 6 children) stayed January 6-9. 2023 and all I can say is wow ! The complex is just stunning , beautifully presented and everything you could wish for is provided for. Thank you to Kev and Lizzy for your hospitality and prompt responses to any queries. The cake made for us was an especially nice touch as was the recommendation for the whisky distillery tour which the boys loved. The hot tub is to die for , the beds hug you to sleep and the private bar is the perfect compliment to any celebration. We had an amazing time and are looking forward to visiting again. The perfect way to celebrate my sons 30th , memories to last forever

27th January for 3nights, 17 of us ,Had a great time, 3 lovely cottages all different themes, great pub where you can all get together, and a lovely Hot tub. Can highly recomend it.4 families from Doncaster.

We recently returned from a wonderful extended family Christmas 2022 holiday at Lucasland. Having first stayed here over Christmas in 2017, we had great memories and were especially pleased to find that everything was just as we remembered it the first time with the cottages and whole facility in tip-top condition. Lucasland is very well located, near to the coast and within the centre of town of Hunmanby yet once you are through the gate everything feels very private yet there are amenities such as shops, pubs and takeaways within stones throw. Having the separate cottages, each with their own facilities means you can have space apart, yet everyone can come then together in the private bar which is where we spent a lot of the time. The facilities including the pool table, dart board and games are ideal and having the ability to have your own draft beer is fabulous. There are covers to put on the pool table which then enables it to be used as a larger dining table which is exactly what we did for Christmas day. There are several great walking and running routes around the area which we also took full advantage of, followed by some relaxation time in the large hot tub. The drying room has additional facilities including washing machine, iron, dryer and also special, very handy, towels for the hot tub. We were especially delighted by the detail and finishing touches that was put into our stay by the owners, this included Christmas decorations throughout, a welcome hamper which was most welcome and also personalised Christmas presents for the kids made the stay even more special and were steps above and beyond. This is an excellent place and provided a truly enjoyable stay. We hope to return here in the future but in the meantime highly recommend it to anyone.

Our family booking was 16th -19th Sept 2022 - 17 people in all. The booking was straight forward as was the welcome from Kevin on arrival - not to mention the lovely cake provide by Lizzy. All 3 cottages have different themes and are very well stocked, clean and comfortable with all essentials. There is a hot-tub in the private gated courtyard and towels are provided. There is a private bar with plenty of glasses, a pool table and a darts board - we took our own drinks. The location in the heart of the village is ideal for the local pubs, restaurants and a supermarket. We spent one day in Filey (close by) and another in Scarborough which is easily accessed by good roads. We lacked nothing and can confirm the accommodation etc matched the description on the website. We find it easy to recommend Lucasland for an excellent holiday.
