Took the dog for a walk along a public footpath around a beautiful field before taking her to this dog friendly pub where I met up with family
I had the small portion of scampi and chips which was perfectly adequate and left space for the delicious lemon torte
On a previous visit I had the lamb stew with bubble and squeak which was especially good.
The staff are friendly and the service excellent. There is a real country feel to the pub, especially in the winter when the fire is lit
Safety: Situated on a busy road so take care entering and exiting the car park
