We're very fortunate to have this pharmacy. The staff are consistently friendly and extremely helpful. They get to know people and understand our requirements. Reassuringly human!

Horribly understaffed so its not the fault of the people who work there but do not use the prescription service. Despite stating they will order on my behalf it rarely happens I think there is a 50/50 success rate at best.

Absolutely terrible. Came to pick up urgent prescription yesterday and found shop shut at 3pm. Message on door said to call for anything urgent. I rang more than 20 times with no reply, knocked on the door and nobody came even though I could see a small child running around inside the (locked) shop. Tried again this morning. Queued 40 minutes to get to front of queue. Now waiting a further 15-20 minutes (so they say) for prescription to be made up. Boots need to sort this out- its not the individual staff at fault but their system simply doesnt work. Hungerford needs better service particularly as much of the population is elderly.

I get my prescriptions sent to them as they are my local pharmacy but I had enough. They close at lunch time but if you go online you can't see the times because they are not published. They get huge queues of people for prescriptions outside but they don't have enough staff to handle it. After waiting 4 weeks for them to get my prescription ready and never picking the phone I wait a huge queue to be told that they haven't been able to find my medication and they are going to ask the surgery for something else. This is medication that if I stop having suddenly I will be severely impacted in my daily life. It's not a minor thing. Boots, what you are doing is not working.

Boots really need to get a grip of this place, it's beyond a joke. It's clearly understaffed, meaning massive queues almost all the time, they never answer the phone so you never know if your prescription is ready, they inexplicably close for an hour every lunch time and close randomly with no notice for nonsensical reasons. Our GP has advised us to not even bother going there anymore and drive to Lambourn or Newbury instead to get prescriptions, apparently they don't even answer calls from the doctors surgery! Total shambles. The place would be deserted if they had any competition in Hungerford.
