Hungerford Garden Machinery

Mower needed fixing, paid for part enabling temporary repair. Excuse after excuse and despite many promises they are now not answering phones, msg. Many visits to workshop but never there. Now taking personal legal action against owner. suggest you DO NOT USE this outfit.......ever!

Doesnt answer the phone 90% of the time ive been chasing a lawn mower part through them for 3-4 weeks now and told it was on its way, i have since spoken to the manufacturer who cannot deal direct to public and who are the only suppilers of said part and been told the dealer hasnt used their account since 2018 and no order has been placed. On the rare occasions the guy answers the phone he says ill chase it and call you back in 5 mins, for them to just not bother. Terrible customer service. Avoid.

After using Hungerford Garden Machinery twice, thought I should write a review as they have really been great. This time the lawn mower stopped engaging - ie if you pushed it, it would work but it didn't surge forward. Nick was able to diagnose the problem and he fixed it. Like last time (a year ago) he did a little extra. He fine tuned the tension bar so that it would work at its optimum. He patiently explained everything as I was a little curious! I'd definitely recommend the company & would have no hesitation going back again. They seem to fix all sorts of machinery too.

I had a tricky bespoke fix on one of my jetwashers and Nick managed to build a part for me. Works perfectly and completed on time at a great price.many thanks Nick will be back!!

Only writing this review in the hope that someone from Hungerford Garden Machinery might see it. They have had my old McCulloch Chainsaw for nearly two years now, keep promising to get it back to me but no joy, I have tried to call many times but just get mailbox full.
