We visited in the snow, it was just stunning and easy parking on the road. Lovely walk for our dog too - but due to livestock / lambing season she stayed on the lead. Its a must visit, especially if your name is Hannah too!

Beautiful place takes a bit of finding but well worth it. Probably at its best in early summer before the meadow is cut to appreciate the different flowers that can only be found in such a rare meadow that has never had man made chemicals applied ever. Park sensibly and its a short walk to the meadow and to the barn that was used by Hannah Hauxwell during her time as a farmer in this beautiful but very harsh environment in the hard winters of her time.
