The POM Flying Group

The Sky was indeed the limit!!! The best flying experience in North Lincolnshire - Guaranteed!!! It was the most amazing lesson to experience the thrill of flying the phenomenal and unique belle: G-SELB, Piper PA-28-161 light aircraft!!! We felt so honoured being the first ones using her after her new painting scheme! Our instructor - Adam, immediately made us feel very welcome! He was super knowledgeable, professional, passionate, friendly, safe, fun, talented, a great teacher and did I mention fun? He made sure that we were giggling all the way through while allowing us to absorb some essential knowledge and enjoying the beautiful views of the Humber and York!!! Extra points for the super smooth landing !!! My boyfriend absolutely loved learning various gentle maneuvers and flying the aircraft himself under close supervision. This experience gives you a real, hands-on insight into flying that makes you wish for more and moreeee (literally!!!!) . I'm sorry to tell you but this "magic effect" leaves you with no alternative but having the extreme desire of obtaining the Private Pilot License , and ASAP! The director - Chris was very friendly and exceptional in providing us with essential information and prompt responses to your enquiries at different stages until the day of flying. Thank you so much Chris!!! Having myself tried different previous aviation companies locally, I can unequivocally establish that no other, I repeat no other flying club/ flying company comes close to POM flying club! I was a passenger and look at all the thrill that I felt!!!! PS: Please, take the 1 hour or more trial flight experience, and thank me later

From the moment you call to book, to when you step off the aircraft and back into the terminal, the experience has been nothing short of brilliant. Chris and team are very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and most importantly willing to help you get exactly what you want out of your flight. The aircraft, specifically G-BPOM is excellent. Very clean, comfortable and really does look well looked after. Up in the sky, she flew beautifully. A charm to take control and was comfortable the entire time. If youre interested in taking lessons or even just want a flying experience, I can not recommend the POM flying group enough. Ill definitely be returning soon.

It was my partners special birthday and as a treat I bought him a Trail lesson and flight experience. Chris at POM who I arranged the trip with was very helpful and made the gift pack personalised with a message to Michael. As the price includes two other passengers, Michael, Frank (his brother) and I arrived at Humberside Airport, 24.2.2018 to warm greetings and introduction to Chris and Andy Rose our instructor. We had our flight briefing and safety presentation and continued on towards the aircraft we would be flying in. To make our experience one we could remember for years to come we took a GoPro camera which we were able to fix into the cockpit. Michael took control almost immediately and with guidance flew off into, what proved to be a perfect flying conditions, with clear blue skys (albeit cold), the heating in the air craft kept us warm. We planned our flight around the Humber Bridge over Hull (where we were able to take pictures and videos with our mobiles) I did manage to get a good aerial view picture of our home. We ventured as far as Filey before turning back to the airport. The whole experience was fabulous and highly recommend. Thank you Andy for a memorable experience. Michael, Karen and Frank
