        Small and very convenient airport. Easy to reach by car, drops of right at the entrance. Less than 15 min from the entrance, through security and to the gate. Lots of very comfortable seating and a nice little Caf with a good selection right at the gate(s).

        It was once voted the best airport in the world, and deservedly too. Whats happened? I have flown from this airport for more than 20 years and since Covid struck it has become a shadow of its former self. Airports in West Africa are better. One flight last week took longer for the bags to arrive in the hall than the total flight time from Amsterdam. Please please step up and renew some of your kit, or you will go, and that really would be a shame. Holiday flights are seasonal, your main business is ferrying to Schipol hub for onward travel around the world. I have flown to South America, China, Australia, Canada etc. all from HUY!!
