As a lone female traveller, I wrote on my checking in form to not say my room number. It felt uncomfortable.
Not sure if this is a frequent event but I wondered why he was being allowed to stand at the reception desk watching people check in- there was a bar that he could have sat in.
Staff were friendly, room smelt a bit damp, but was fine. Convenient location and easy parking.
