The menu looked promising but this is a shabby, lackadaisical place with bought-in, greasy fried things and sad-looking, salt-laden excuses for tapas dishes. Not good value either. What a shame. I hope the fabulous Mandalay that used to be next door doesnt follow through with their ambition of doing a pop-up here. I fear theyd be tarred with this sorry restaurants lazily wielded brush. Oh, forgot to mention one thing that sums up the pathos of this place - a Yorkshire produce stand with some crisps, a couple of bottles of something pink and a mini jar of chutney.
