Thornhill Care Home

Thornhill Care Home has a team of exceptionally friendly, helpful and experienced staff. The home is close to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and two minutes from a main bus route and 10 minutes from the M62. My experience when visiting, is that the staff really care about the people they look after. Worth considering you're looking for care in the Lindley, Marsh, Outlane, Edgerton, Birkby and Salendine Nook areas of Kirklees.

A good caring home . C Q C (REPORT GOOD OVER ALL ) . All of the staff Working very hard and conscientiously . I have Worked at supposedly good care homes before ,but Thornhill will take some beating . Im two years into my retirement now and can only say That they were all very nice warm team players . Even the residents are part of the team. the manager gets his sleeves up and helps the residents. And doesnt think hes above or turn his nose up at his hardworking staff. The residents no matter which floor they are on are brought together for singing and dancing by the activities coordinator . The area managers are always on the ball. Assuring the safety and care of everyone in the home And are very approachable and helpful . They dont think they are above the staff . They treat staff like ( HUMANs andNOT like ROBOTS) . I wouldnt have any doubts about putting one of my relative in this home, Or myself . SUMMERY: A friendly safe caring home . Respect !
