The Taylor Funeral Service

Arranged my grandfathers funeral, a prominent Sikh figure, and provided an excellent service. Religious and Indian cultural sensitivities were adhered to and the day went very smoothly with all staff focused on professionalism. A special shout out to Steve who helped us arrange a religious service, the day before the funeral with a careful respectful approach to the religious & cultural aspects of the preparation. When Calderdale Royal Hospital didnt allow viewing, Taylor Funeral Service stepped in, organised everything and made it possible for us to say our farewells to my dear wife. Thank you for everything you have done. Your service is second to none.

I have been in touch with Taylors for about 4 months before my father actually passed away. He was starting with dementia and was determined to try to set up a funeral plan with them. They have gone above and beyond. My dad was calling them several times a week at points, and they were patient and professional. They have been honest and transparent the whole time keeping me in the loop all without any plan actually being paid for. They even visited my father and drew up a draft plan with him to put his mind at ease. I had no qualms about actioning this when my father passed away. They were understanding of a difficult situation and offered advice around other services too. I am actually a little sad to be saying goodbye to them too! They even ordered extra memory decorations for us so that my brother and sister could have one too. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you Helen and Barbra particularly.

I recently had to say goodbye forever to my daughter. Everybody at Taylors made the planning as painless as possible. Nothing was half hearted or rushed, it was all in my own time. They never got upset that Id call at 10/11 pm and always kept me updated. Helen was very tactful and was happy to help me do the things I couldnt. Helen took my daughters hand and foot prints (at my request) and did a fantastic job. She worked with me and forgetmenot to help me get the keepsakes I know Ill need. They have all been so kind with me, even after the funeral. I couldnt recommend a better team to look after your loved one and help you through a horrific situation. Thank you everybody at Taylors. Especially for doing the bits I couldnt and giving her the care I wouldve. I hope I never have to plan another funeral, but if I do, Ill come straight to you. Thank you again - Amelias mum
