During a pandemic Matt the Electrician literally walked into my flat without a mask of which I then told him I was just about to get in the shower and if he could come back in ten minutes. Without a response he literally just shut the down and left. One hour later he comes back knocks on this time, and I said give me two minutes so I can get some shoes on to the leave the flat - whilst he does the work (as I am currently dealing with respiratory issues). He then replied with "i've not got time to wait for you all day, I won't do your heater then". He then decides to walk off. This is such a poor level of professionalism, combined with the fact that he didn't isolate the fuse board, and he just turned the switch off at the fuse spur - this is not the correct practice when isolating the supply. Moreover, when I rang up to complain, the person on the phone stated that he would come and apologise for his bad attitude - he still hasn't and I doubt he intends to. Avoid DG Scott Electrical Services LTD as it is unprofessional, conducting incorrect isolation practices, and is not being considerate, such as, wearing a mask within close proximity, to others with health issues.

Very disappointed with the service, double check prices before agreeing to any work. I initially asked for a quote for a PAT for 7 - 8 items and was quoted 25.00 over the phone, it then turns that a certificate costs 25.00 extra and then the invoice arrives with VAT on top in total the bill came to 63.00. The charges should have been made clear at the initial contact.

DG Scott were able to fit in an inspection for an EICR at fairly short notice when I had had difficulty finding another electrician available. I was very happy that the inspection was thorough and the feedback was good. I can now have confidence in the electrical safety of the house we're buying to live in with our young family.
