The receptionist is broken, and really needs some people skills, seems to take pleasure in telling people that it is NOT business as usual. I was told in March 2021 that health checks would be rolled out in a few weeks only to be told in October they won't be doing them for the foreseeable future due to backlog. I understand this but her robotic voice just kept saying "there are no further answers I can give" ,and seemed to relish saying this. I'm worried about my health as I feel run down and this is not doing my depression any favours.

Drs iqbal &shaikh are very very excellent efficient gps both very empathic with thare patients and most of nurses are grate too especially e sister Emma Wood who always goes put of her way to help her patients. However I'm very very sad to say that both Dr shaikh & sister Emma Wood have left the surgery &thatsna huge loss to the surgery. However the new dr dr chowd4y seems quite nice &most of the reception staff are very good unfortunately like all surherys thares the odd couple of receptionists who are very rude&deliberately obstructive but u get that at any surgery at least the doctors are competent and helpful. But these nurse practitioners are a huge mistake that gover. Has made .but evrry1 knows boris Johnson like kirklees and our ccg incompetent divvys

I would give zero but cant. My daughter has suffered migraines for 5 years+ since she was in her early 20s. The GPs have been lassez faire at best with investigations and treatment. She has had numerous hospital admissions and still nothing. Her employer paid for her to see a specialist in migraines in leeds and her GP ignored recommendations until we were persistent. She has had so many sickness episodes it has nearly cost her promotion at work, despite being excellent at what she does. There have been days when she cant see or walk it's been that bad. GPs prescribed opioids on top of opioids and anti depressants without looking for a cause. She finally got a referral to a neurologist and neuro physiologist. They recommended new medication and a gradual reduction of old meds. My daughter requested baseline blood tests today from her GP (through a receptionist!) as her prescribed new meds can raise LFTs etc. Her GP prescribed these meds and then refused a blood test saying he needed a letter from her consultant! Absolute disgrace. No duty of care for her at all. A complaint is winging it's way to the CCG and practice manager. I have advised her to move GP practice.
