Appreciate that everyone can have an off day so want to start this review with that statement. Was very difficult to get hold of anyone on the telephone , eventually an email was sent to which I got a response - a follow up email was not responded to about booking In my device. Only when I left a fair but firm voicemail on the main telephone line (which is never answered) did I receive a response. From experience, the company did not fix the issue. Reported that my windows laptop did not power up on connecting the charging device to the device. The gentleman suggested that the power unit was to blame and that I should have checked power to the device - I had done this before arriving. Took a while to hear a response , once I did get a response to say that a new power unit had been supplied I was away on holiday and took a few days to collect. On collection, I asked what the problem was - the fella said it was a charging unit and not anything on the board or laptop to blame. Thought nothing of it The very next time I used the device , the same fault happened again. We needed the device for work job so ended up buying a brand new HP laptop. After completing the job on the new device , I plugged the new devices charger into the old device, and it powered straight away and has worked ever since. For reference, I had used new power cables on the device in the past as the HP ones supplied have a habit of breaking. Should point out that the new unit supplied by TechTeach was also not a genuine HP charging unit either. Sent an email , the fella said If its not charging and as you say the charge port is loose then it may just be I was lucky. Can you bring it back in. I will double / treble check the port I can appreciate these things happen with any job so maybe just a bad experience , but always check before you leave that the device has been given a full check up.
