Orderd a roast pork apple and stuffing sandwich, hardly any apple sauce, missing stuffing and when we did get it it was a flat dryed out patty the size off a 50p price and the pork wasn't roast pork it was dry sliced up chop..dry as bones and definitely not worth the money, disability ramp to get into the building but no toilets facilities for the disabled as there up 3 large staircases

Really disappointing. We drove 1 hour to sample some Mauritian food as we ourselves are Mauritian. We got there a bit early and she said they would serve breakfast and lunch despite us being early. When trying to order she says no Mauritian food until 12.30, so we would have to come back in an hour. I had my month old baby with me so explained if she could guarantee they would be making it as I dont want to hang around for nothing. She says to ring in 1 hour. I rang twice with no answer so after an hour walked back to the restaurant and was greeted by the gentleman who stated they are not serving Mauritian food today and when they do its after 4pm? So we were given false information and completely wasted our time. Unfortunately we will not be returning.

The Mauritian food is excellent. I think there are better cafes in Huddersfield for traditional afternoon teas and other reviews would reflect this, but the curry, calves liver, gateau piments and chutneys are fabulous and we shall definitely return. Vegetarian options: Good range of vegetarian and vegan options on the Mauritian/dinner menu
