A lovely quiet well equipped lodge with two good size bedrooms and large living area / kitchen. It is spacious, warm and comfortable . We know the village well and can recommend it for coast , country ( Dales Moors and Howardian hills ) and York or Malton . Excellent fish and chips , pub and Chinese restaurant ( also a pub!) . Award winning community store and good bus services . The lodge sits in lovely countryside and the hosts are friendly and welcoming . Strongly recommend the lodge and location .
