This is our favourite pub in the world! Great staff, great customers, great beer! Lovely comfy clean room. Home from home, been coming to Elsecar four times a year for the past 17 years and have made many good friends. An absolute joy every time! Thank you Sheila, Gary, Lisa, Emma, Steph, Bev and all the staff for making my Dads 85th birthday so special! We love you all so much, we will keep coming for a long as we can! Long may it last. My local, l love this pub I've been going for the last 30 years I get to meet my friends and have a beer and have a good old natter, my friends from Cambridge come here when the bottle fair is on and this last year they came up for Christmas and the new year. You can't go wrong here at the Market.. It's the lovely people in here who will make you welcome no matter who you are and hope you come back the next time you visit. The staff here are exceptional, always a smile and a great welcome for everyone you couldn't wish any better, just fetch yourselves to this lovely family run pub I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
