Katie was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. She was an absolute pleasure to have there on the day, blending in perfectly with the guests and having us in fits of laughter during our couple photos. The end result is absolutely stunning - the photos have perfectly captured the joy and spirit of our wedding, including all the little details, and we couldn't be happier with them. Would highly recommend Katie.

Katie was an absolutely brilliant photographer from beginning to end. We loved her documentary style and knew this would fit in with the relaxed occasion we were hoping for. We had an initial meeting and Katie was really perceptive at understanding what we wanted and was really clear in terms of telling us what information would help her get the best photos. Communications were really quick and direct so we were never worried about the planning. On the big day Katie arrived promptly, was unintrusive and fitted in perfectly with our guests and so it was no surprise when we saw the photos - which were exactly what we wanted. Everybody looked relaxed, mostly laughing and enjoying the day. We did a few more formal group shots and these were absolutely brilliant quality but the natural ones were the ones we love the most. I would really highly recommend Katie as a photographer!

Katie is amazing. She was so great at making us feel relaxed on the day, nothing felt forced or uncomfortable and she got so many incredible photographs throughout the day. She was like a ninja photographer at times as we hardly noticed she was taking pictures. She never thrusted a camera in anyones way or interrupted conversations which meant that the majority of the shots were candid, fun and tell a story. We were both so impressed and emotional looking back at the finished photographs and literally could not fault a thing about them or her, she was perfect.

Katie was our wedding photographer in Newcastle and I cannot shut up to all my family and friends about how talented she is. Apart from being completely on our wave-length for humour, she was like a ninja all day, capturing moments I never could have seen myself. She's a MASTER with composition and light! Our wedding photos are a proper time-capsule and it's all down to the talent that is Katie Dervin
