Olive & Gin

We attended this restaurant last night as a group of four. We were out with friends and it was a special occasion. We had a simple order. The first part was only 2 garlic breads and 2 spare ribs. It was a long wait to be served and the order came at different times. My partner had to go searching three times for the second garlic bread and then believe it or not we had to ask for plates to eat it off. It took an eternity for the main course to arrive and the room was very cold and uninviting. People were putting their outdoor coats on to keep warm. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews and perhaps this restaurant is OKAY on a warm summer midweek evening. Not one we would revisit m sorry to say.

This place has change hands so many times over the years, spur of the moment, decided to call in, the welcome was good and friendly. Wine list small, our choice of wine from the menu wasnt available. We had the Beef casserole and the Peta, chicken and peppers. The food was very tasty, well presented, most enjoyable. Would definitely recommend. Recommendations: replenish the drinks stock on the menu Staff: very helpful, friendly, but lack some confidence and experience. Training required. Question: would I recommend? yes I would Would I go again? Yes Thank you

I've been here a few times and it is always a lovely experience. Food is gorgeous, beautiful place and the waiter is so nice and friendly. Can't wait to go again. Definitely recommend.
