R S P C A Bury Oldham Charity Shop

Again another charity shop that has shot way up in prices either because of new management or some other reasons. I used to get a lot of great stuff from here but for some reason the prices are more of that of a boutique and everything is priced at eBay prices. I understand it is for charity and thats why I always like to shop in these shop so I am contributing to helping them in anyway I can, but people like me use these shops also to buy from and if we can afford to shop on eBay then we wouldnt be trying the shops first. I went to try and get some gifts for people for Christmas and called in here and walked straight back out everything is just priced to that of what it would be online, its very disappointing that this shop has gone this way as its used to be very reasonably priced.

Staff are very hit and miss in here the men are usually friendly and make time to talk to the kids but the woman aren't, they watch you like you are stealing which is very off putting. They have two floors, upstairs has a bridal, vintage and book section. Downstairs is menswear, childrens and womens. Prices can be a bit silly for a charity shop so its not often I get a good buy in this shop but its good for children's books. I am disappointed to see the review below the volunteers that give their time for free should be valued over paid staff because they choose to be there.

Great shop! Every week they change all the clothes, it is amazing! The staff are super!
