We are delighted with our new fire stove that Hovingham installed for us it works great and looks great. Mark was very nice to deal with and certainly knows his trade so who better to get advice from. Would certainly recommend Hovingham Fireplaces !

Hovingham Fireplaces was recommended to us by a neighbour who's used their services before. When Mark came out for the initial assessment, it turned out that he'd fitted one of our fireplaces many years ago! We had a poorly fitted woodburning stove, which necessitated the removal of the fireplace and rubble behind, fitting of a new hearth in the exposed opening, installation of a flue in the original clay liner, making good the inside of the new fireplace and fitting of a new super efficient Burley 8kw woodburner. Mark reused some of the stone from the original fireplace and cut it to size to make the new inner hearth, which matches the original outer hearth perfectly. Mark is a perfectionist and the work was all completed to an extraordinarily high standard and at a competitive price. Mark really knows the business and I would certainly recommend Hovingham Fireplaces and use their services again.
