    BREAKS FITTED INCORRECTLY!! At the end of 2021 Platinum fitted new break pads and disc to my car and after about a month the breaks became very squeaky. Platinum garage wasn't particularly local nor did they have availability that week and I was travelling to London on the Friday. After speaking to the mechanic he suggested that I take the car to my local garage to get them to check them out to see if there was anything obviously wrong. He advised if there was anything major to bring the car back. The garage I took it to had to strip the breaks to diagnose the fault. They found that the break pads were fitted incorrectly as these pads were handed left and right. The garage rectified Platinums error and fitted them to the correct sides. Having had to pay for the breaks to be rectified I got back in touch with Platinum and sent them the invoice to see whether they would partially help out owing to the fact their mechanic fitted them wrong. The owners stance was that I should have taken the car back to his garage for his mechanic to sort out. At the time this was not convenient and the garage did not have availability that week and I was heading to London at the end of the week. This has left me out of pocket and I will not be returning.
