Hounslow Lahori Karahi

The recently renovated restaurant has made this place look contemporary and spacious. I have often passed by and wondered if the food would be as tasty as it looked. So I wanted to give it a try. We went as a group of people for an iftar party. The place slowly started to fill up by 8 Pm. We had booked our table in advance so we didn't have to wait or worry. The service was ok, could have been better. The food was alright as well but the portions have shrunk and reduced to miniature karahi! We ordered chicken Karahi which I was particularly looking forward to. It was alright but not what I was expecting. The mixed grill included a piece of fish, some chicken, and grilled kabab, which tasted good but the presentation was awful! So was the grilled kabab platter. They need to put a bit more attention to how to put food on a plate that looks appetizing, not repulsive.
