Phil fitted 4 oak veneer internal doors for us a couple of weeks ago and also trimmed a door so it would close over the floor bars we'd put down since we'd fitted new flooring . Arrived to give us the quote when he said he would and to do the work too, which isn't always the case these days. Great bloke to have working in your home. Very tidy, cheerful and respectful. The doors were a bit of a pain to fit as the 1960s frames were anything but square. The end job is fantastic and Phil's attention to detail is plain to see. Now we just need to crack on and get them all waxed and polished up! Services: Installation, Carpentry services

I have no hesitation recommending Melrose Joinery. Phil visited us last week to replace internal doors, architrave, skirting boards, landing balustrade and banister. The job was completed to a very high standard at a competitive price. He is reliable, knowledgeable, diligent, friendly, punctual and even cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day! We are over the moon with the completed work and have already scheduled two further home improvements for later in the year.
