Wendover Guest House

Booked for me by my work. I always give 5 stars. Sometimes, not often, I get lucky and my work book me in to stay somewhere I'd happily book myself. From the warm welcome I received from the hosts to the clean comfortable room. This place passed the '3 T test'. Tea, towels and toilet paper. These are all things that places often skimp on with poor quality options. But not here! Great powerful shower. Veggie breakfast was fresh and tasty. Very accommodating host. Happy to recommend! Important context: My experience was a 1 night stay and does not represent this establishment in it's entirety. No-one in hospitality sets out to provide a poor experience. Anyone can have an off day.

Fantastic stay. Lovely owner. Very welcoming and a relaxed stay. The bed is comfy and the shower is great. What else do you need? Cant speak for the breakfast because i was away by 5.30am. Got parked easily enough on the street in front.

Safety: Stairways to rooms. Older people may find the stairs challenging. Noteworthy details: Atmosphere & friendliness made a big difference. We felt looked after.
