Knowledgeable and patient, they fixed a rotten joist and ran a dampproofing course on our midterrace. One room, four half days. If you're a new home owner, remember to ask how much of the afterwork is included (they redid the plastering and skirting boards, but decorating and recarpetting needs to be arranged). Would use this service again, top guys!

Fabulous team. They finished our job just last week. We had our living room and kitchen damp-proofed. From the very beginning when Steve first came out to assess our damp problem he was courteous and knew exactly what needed doing. Steve, Dean, George and Liam are an absolutely great team, very conscientious plus they are so friendly, but my word they are hard working grafters! I inquired to Ste at Ascot, he came round promptly within days. Before I had found Ascot and even got round to checking out their website properly, I really struggled to find similar symptoms of mould and damage - to what we had experienced. It was hard to find the right people, the right websites, the right information. But its also hard when you yourself are not sure of what it is or how to describe it!! Once I looked through their site, it was somewhat of a relief to find a company that KNOWS what they are talking about and to read such helpful info and also pictures to refer to as examples. They had images of exactly the same that was going on in my home and information on the fungus kinds. Ste was genuine, helpful and honest. He came round and checked the areas that were affected, not just in 1 room but 2. He knew what he was talking about, he advised me from all angles and answered any questions and any concerns I had. He also gave a genuine rough estimate, even though it could change if the job got more extensive, but it was helpful to have an idea, no one likes a surprise! So thank you Stephen. The problem needed to be sorted ASAP and after my go ahead, he came with his team in within few days. They did the job so well and got it done, cleared up and finished within 4 days including treatment and redoing the wall up. I've never seen workman so prompt and head on with a job. I'm so glad I found these guys and would recommend completely, a lovely bunch to have round. Thanks to the team at Ascot.
