The Groom Room Horwich

Do not recommend! got my puppy his first 'puppy groom' here, thinking it would be just a wash of his coat, dry, tidy feet and clean his ears to get used to being groomed - As stated on the website. He's 5 months and still has his puppy fur. They didnt wash him properly, his ears were still dirty and we didn't realise at the time but they have cut his fur to the skin and its a mess! The damage they might have done to his coat won't be known until the hair grows back, if it does!!! They are not professional and don't care about the dogs in their care. Avoid at all cost!

Lovely groom room which our dog goes too every few months...This trip was her 5th visit so it was a free groom She looked lovely as always and they always ask if she has anything wrong since last time she visited which she had just been under the vets for a month for a bad skin condition which has now cleared up

Devastated at how my Dog looks. Shes a cockapoo whos been shaved short all over. No effort to keep her looking fluffy or teddy like. Unrecognisable and shes come back extremely quiet and not herself at all! 57 spent on this awful cut! Even her eyelashes have all been cut off. Avoid.

Avoid this groomers!! My regular groomer was unavailable so I booked my two dogs in for a full groom. The groomer traumatised the dogs and totally misshaped their faces, close cropping one of their snouts so it looked ridiculous. Both has uneven body grooms, with chunks out and long bits. She was inexperienced and incompetent. I was horrified with the result and paid twice my normal charge for the privilege. Avoid or regret!!

Very disappointing experience. Awful cut, made my dog look ridiculous. But even worse is my dog still has several areas of tangled/matted hair - so they cant have even brushed him properly let alone groomed and cut his hair all over. If it was cheap Id understand, but they charge full rates youd expect at a premium independent groomers so its doubly disappointing. Stay well away.
